Julie C. Su  (Master of Librarianship from UC Berkeley; Specialist degree in Library and Information Sciences from Indiana University)  is  Digital Resources / Serials Librarian /Asian Studies Librarian  and the Head of the Serials and Electronic Resources Unit at San Diego State University Library.  She is an active member in the American Library Association (ALA), an elected ALA Councilo-at-large,  serving on the Association for Library Collection and Technical Services ( ALCTS)'s Committee on Holdings Information, Committee to Study Serials Standards (CSSS), Continuing Resource Cataloging Committee, Cataloging Policy and Planning Committee, Cooperative Online Serials (CONSER) Publication Pattern Initiative and served on the Workflow Task Force.  Past President of Southern California Technical Processing Group, and Active member of Association for Asian Studies, Chinese American Librarians Association.

Her teaching credential includes: Library of Congress certified trainer for five different workshops on Beginning and Advanced Serials Cataloging, Electronic Serials Cataloging, Cataloging Electronic Monographs, Integrating Resources, and Serials, and Serials Holdings. Adjunct faculty at San Jose State University School of Library and Information Science, Southern California Program (2002): Beginning Cataloging and Classification with a focus on information organization.  Speaker and consultant on serials and electronic content management in libraries, Innovative Interfaces Millennium Serials module and Serials Solutions electronic serials management system.

Recent publications include: Anglo-American Cataloging Rules 2002 revised edition, Chapter 12: Continuing Resources: Chinese, Japanese, Korean examples,Editor, Julie Su.  July, 2008, available on Library of Congress web site:
